As much as I LOVE to travel around the world, I am very passionate about finding new things to do and different places to eat ( everyone likes to eat) in my home town of London.
Without further a do then, welcome to the first of my #LoveLondon posts
This weekend gone, I planned a jam packed Saturday in London in honour of my hubby’s birthday. Our first stop was Junk Yard in Shoreditch.
Now I have only been to one other crazy golf course but I have to say that I was really impressed with this one. They have four different courses you can choose from as well as several bars so you can get merry as you swing your way through the course. They also have hot snacks to nibble on and a reasonably priced cloakroom which allows you to pay by card. It’s the small things!
I chose the “Gary” course which is based around a scrap yard and written off cars. Each hole is really fun and you even get to unleash your inner kid on a slide mid way through. Note: DO NOT wear pleather bottoms like me as you WILL get stuck. It finishes up in a UV themed garage rave! Fun!
In between chatting, drinking, competitively totting up our scores and waiting for the groups ahead to move on, it probably took us about an hour to get round the course.
To be honest at £11.50 per adult, I think it was a bargain! They allow really large groups as well so would be cool to do as a group activity for a birthday or one of those cringe worthy team building events!
So next time you fancy doing something fun and active with your weekend, check them out:
